Private Events at Fenimore's Table
Your celebration, our kitchen, on Route 28 just outside the village.
Fenimore’s Table hosts private gatherings for up to 95 guests indoors, and up to 140 in summer when the patio is open. We look after the food, the bar, the room and the table settings, and one person from our team stays with your event from the first phone call through the last toast.
We host rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions, welcome parties and farewell brunches, bridal and baby showers, anniversaries and milestone birthdays, family reunions, corporate lunches and dinners, holiday parties, sports banquets, celebrations of life, cocktail receptions and full restaurant buyouts.
The Hampton Inn is next door at 4882 State Highway 28, which makes a wedding weekend or a group coming in from out of town a great deal simpler.
Three ways to do it, and a brunch
The Fenimore
Casual elegant
For family gatherings, team dinners, corporate groups and celebrations that want good food without a lot of ceremony. Served buffet or family style, and built around the food we cook every day: house and fall harvest salads, chicken parmesan, grilled salmon, the chicken special, pasta, and sides from the kitchen.
The Signature
Upscale celebration
For rehearsal dinners, showers, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and holiday parties. Open with a cocktail hour if you want one, with selections such as our salmon ball with crostini and cucumber chips, pretzel cauliflower bites, the wings, elote nachos, flatbreads and charcuterie. Dinner follows buffet or plated, with NY strip, grilled salmon, the chicken special and a seasonal pasta among the choices.
The Grand
Premium private dining
Our white tablecloth service, for wedding events, milestone celebrations and premium corporate dinners. Passed hors d’oeuvres to start, then a plated dinner with up to three entree choices for your guests, upgraded china and glassware, specialty linens, a plated dessert and coffee service. Bar packages run up to a premium open bar, with a champagne toast and a signature cocktail if you want them.
The Celebration Brunch
Mornings and midday
For Sunday farewell brunches after a wedding, and for showers, reunions and corporate mornings. Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, home fries, French toast, buttermilk pancakes, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee and juice, out of the same kitchen that opens at 6:30 every morning. Add a mimosa bar, a bloody mary bar, a smoked salmon display or a carving station.
Daytime and group lunches
Breakfast and lunch events, brunches and daytime corporate gatherings all work, including Tuesday and Wednesday when the dining room closes at 4PM. If you have a group arriving in the middle of the day, tell us the number and the time and we will put something together.
Make it your own
Past the food, we can bring in premium china and charger plates, specialty flatware, wine and cocktail glassware, upgraded linens and napkins, chiavari or crossback chairs, cocktail tables, votive and specialty lighting, a dance floor, staging, and pipe and drape. These are quoted based on what you choose.
Questions
How many people can you host?
Up to 95 guests indoors. In summer, when the patio is open, up to 140. Tell us your guest count when you get in touch and we will confirm what works for your date.
Can we have the restaurant to ourselves?
Full or partial buyouts may be available, depending on the date, the time and what else is on the restaurant’s schedule. Ask and we will check the day you have in mind.
What does it cost per person?
It depends on which experience you choose, how many guests you have and what you add to it. Tell us the shape of your event and we will come back with a full quote.
How is a date confirmed?
Getting in touch does not reserve your date. A date is confirmed once we have checked availability with you and the agreement and deposit are in place.
Can you do an open bar?
Yes. Beer and wine, a house open bar or a premium open bar, and we can also run it on consumption or as a cash bar. A champagne toast and a signature cocktail can be added to any of them.
Can you handle allergies, vegetarian or gluten free?
Yes. Tell us when you call or write and the kitchen will build around it.
Can you host during the day?
Yes. Breakfast and lunch events, brunches and daytime corporate gatherings all work, including Tuesday and Wednesday when the dining room closes at 4PM.
